Once the world’s most expensive footballer, Lentini brought direct wing play and long-range striking. His career was reshaped by a serious car accident in 1993, making every later appearance with Milan a story of persistence. He did not actually make a competitive appearance for Milan in the 1996/97 season, and was sold back to Atalanta during the summer.
