2010/11 Argentina Home Football Shirt (S) Adidas #10 Messi

Information:  Official Adidas Argentina home football shirt from the 2010/11 international season, featuring the nameset of football legend, Lionel Messi #10 on the reverse.  The shirt has a beautiful simplicity to the design with just blue shoulder panels and a white collar complimenting the traditional stripes. Lionel Messi had persuaded manager Diego Maradona to change to a 4–3–1–2 formation with himself playing behind the two strikers in his favoured position as playmaker for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. It proved effective and against South Korea he excelled in his playmaking role, helping in all four goals in their 4–1 victory. He wore the captain's armband for the first time in their 2–0 win against Greece where he was the focal point of their play and helped create their second goal to see Argentina finish as group winners. Argentina went on to beat Mexico 3-1 and then lose 4-0 to Germany.
