2000’s AS Jeanne d’Arc Away Shirt - L

Incredibly rare shirt, produced by local manufacturer Azteca for Reúnion Premier League side AS Jeanne D’Arc (now known as SS Le Jeanne d’Arc).

Reúnion, a French overseas department in the Indian Ocean, has produced many footballers (Dmitri Payet, Laurent Robert) and maintains a domestic league system whose teams regularly compete in the Coupe De France.

Due to the difficulty associated with finding information about football in Reúnion, the club and it’s history are hard to pin down; however, the club is confirmed to be one of the oldest on the island. Founded in 1927, the club from the town of Le Port play in a distinctive white and purple kit.

The brand, Azteca, is equally mysterious. However, they did produce the kits for the non-FIFA national side of Reúnion in 2014.

The fit on this one is a large, but is slightly tighter than a standard modern large.

Condition - Overall great, some light marking to the inner neck from size label, with the odd mark to front as shown.
