1996 China Away Football Shirt (L) Adidas #11 (Asian Cup Shirt) Re-badged Template

Information: Official Adidas China Away football shirt from 1996, as worn in the Asian Cup. This shirt has been re-badged using the well known Adidas 1994 Diamond Template. Initially disliked by many fans around the world, the template was used on the shirts of the national teams of Germany & Latvia, as well as club sides including Bari & Besiktas. The reverse of the shirt boasts the number #11, made famous at that time by Hai Hadong, who played 106 times for China, scoring 39 goals. A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.

Teammates: Including Li, Sun, Wang, Zhao, Zhang & Liu.

Condition: Excellent.  Superb colours, material is smooth with a few fine bobbles and a slight deterioration to the flock number on the reverse.  Stunning diamond template design.  Embroidered manufacturer name in fantastic condition.  Stitched national team badge retrospectively added to recreate the superb China team jersey from 1996.  Faint mark of old/removed chest sponsor can be seen on close inspection (see photo).  Overall an excellent example of a shirt of that age.
