Information: Official Umbro England Training shirt from 1996/98, as worn by the national team during the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France, when England played Argentina in the second round where a young Michael Owen announced himself on the world stage scoring one of the goals of the tournament, but it wasn't enough for England to advance in the competition, losing 4-3 on penalties. A fantastic vintage training shirt, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.
Teammates: Including Shearer, Sheringham, Gascoigne, Ince, Adams & Anderton.
Condition: Excellent. Superb colours, material is smooth with just a few bobbles and small snags in line with age. Glorious stitched team badge and flock chest sponsor and oversized manufacturer logo. Fabulous flock + stitched sleeve design elements. Sections of the flock detailing on reverse have been repaired/replaced. As a result there are some faint white colour differences between the old vs new sections (only visible on close inspection, which will blend together over time. Excellent sleeves, collar and hems.
