1992/93 Flamengo Home Football Shirt (L) Umbro # 5 (Junior)

Information:  Official Umbro long sleeve Flamengo home football shirt from the 1992/93 season. The Shirt boasts the original flock number #5 and is possibly match worn, although no certification exists. During the 92/93 season, the number 5 jersey was worn by Brazilian International Junior, who recorded 74 caps between May 1979 and December 1992, scoring six goals, appearing in both the 1982 and 1986 World Cups. Junior was named by Pelé as one of the top 125 greatest living footballers in March 2004. and was affectionately nicknamed "capacete" ("helmet", in Portuguese) because of his afro hairstyle.

Condition:  Very Good.  Excellent bright colours.  Material is smooth but is starting to show age due to a number of bobbles and small snags.  Fantastic sublimated logo, sponsor and club badge.  Original flock Umbro number #5 on reverse.  Superb collar and cuffs.  Glorious long sleeve version.
