1988/89 Eintracht Frankfurt Home Football Shirt (L) Puma #18

Comments:.  Genuine Puma home football shirt worn by Frankfurt in the 1988/89 Bundesliga season, the club's 89th in their history.  The club were relegated from the German top flight via the play-offs after finishing 16th, despite a good cup season, which saw them runners-up in the DFB Supercup & reach the quarter-finals of the European Cup Winners Cup.  

Teammates:  Including Binz, Korbel, Studer, Klepper, Andersen & Grundel.  

Condition:  Good.  Given its age (>30 years) the shirt is in very good condition.  Material is smooth, with no holes or tears.  Felt club name on reverse is outstanding.  Some bobbling throughout, general wear & tear to shirt printing (logo, sponsor, club badge) and heavy deterioration of number on back (see photos).  However, a fabulous late 80s shirt.
