Welcome to Showboat, an app for football enthusiasts to share and showcase their shirt collections. By using the App, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. User registration

  • You must be 13 years or older to register.
  • Your email address is required to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

2. User content

  • You may upload images of football shirts you own or have the right to share. Images are stored via our image hosting provider.
  • You retain ownership of photos you upload, but grant Showboat Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute them within the App and for Showboat marketing, including App Store screenshots, social media, or promotional material featuring the community.
  • You must not upload offensive, illegal, or copyrighted material without permission.
  • Collection metadata you enter, such as team, player, prices, notes, and valuations, is stored in our database.

3. Data collection and privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including:

  • Account and profile information
  • Collection content and uploaded images
  • Usage analytics in production builds
  • Crash and error reports
  • Subscription status

4. Third-party services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase services (authentication, database, storage, analytics), Cloudinary (images), GoatCounter (analytics), Sentry (diagnostics), and Apple App Store / Google Play (payments). Subscription entitlements may also be handled by service providers acting on our behalf. Those services may process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. User rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact usersupport@showboat.world, or use the in-app account deletion feature in Settings, which removes your account and associated data.

6. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful or harmful activity
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the App
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the App
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share

7. Termination

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice where permitted by law.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Showboat Ltd is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the App or third-party services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer rights in the UK.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. We will use reasonable means to notify you of material changes.

10. Payments and subscriptions

Subscription plans

Showboat offers optional paid subscription plans (“Premium”) with additional features. Pricing and features are shown before you purchase.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as shown at purchase) unless stated otherwise. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment partners to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store your full payment card details. App store and payment platform terms apply to your purchase.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellations

You can cancel anytime via Settings → Premium in the App, or through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. After cancellation, Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges apply after cancellation.

Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law, including any applicable app store refund policies.

Pricing and Features

We may change subscription pricing or included features. Price changes apply to future billing cycles and will be communicated in advance where required.

Failed payment

If payment fails, we may suspend Premium access until payment succeeds.
