Showboaters: The Best Weekly Shirt Uploads

We spotlight our favourite shirts uploaded to Showboat in mid-October.

Barcelona (Home Jersey) - 1995
Barca's six year run with Kappa in the mid-nineties is the stuff of legend - the club has arguably never had a better shirt manufacturer. This one, from the 95/96 campaign, marked a turbulent time for Barca who sacked Johan Cryuff before the end of the season and began to move from key players like Hristo Stoichkov and Romário. This Iván de la Peña shirt represents both the end of the 'Dream Team' era and the start of something new for Barca. We value it at £260.

Kashiwa Reysol (Home Jersey) - 1992

While you'll see J.League shirts featured on these pages every week such is our love for them - this one is actually from the JFL as the J.League hadn't been founded yet it. The Adidas template, bold Hitachi sponsor and the number on the from of the shirt all make this instantly collectable. We valued this at around £350.

Belgium (Home Jersey) - 1992

Belgium's first shirt under their Diadora partnership got off to a very strong start and set the tone for one of the most underrated collaborations of the 90s. With shirt valuations often tied to memories, this one has slipped the attention of many as it was worn during a period when Belgium failed to qualify for Euro '92. But for the style and quality, our valuation of £145 probably feels cheap to some.

Y
okohama F. Marinos (Away Jersey) - 1992

Another Japanese shirt that ticks the style box but was released the season before the J.League when teams seem to want an explosion of colour on their shirts. Consequently the valuation of this may again feel like a bargain for potential buyers. We priced this at £135.

Czech Republic (Away Jersey) - 1995

This Radek Bejbl matchworn comes from a golden era for Czech Republic both in terms of players and kits. Bejbl was part of the team that made it to the finals of Euro 1996 so it's easy to see why I shirt from that year is valued so highly. The long sleeves are a lovely touch to a piece of football history. We think this is worth an estimated £525.
